Grow your landscape with palms rooted in care
From young specimens to mature stately palms, Ritter Palm Farm cultivates healthy, vibrant stock for your home, garden, or development project—grown right here in Southwest Florida.
A family grown into a farm
Ritter Palm Farm has been a trusted source for quality palm trees and tropical nursery stock in St James City for generations. What started as a family passion for growing has become a full-service retail nursery serving homeowners, landscapers, and commercial developers across Lee County and beyond.
Every palm in our fields is nurtured with intention—from the moment it leaves the ground to the day it reaches your landscape. We believe healthy soil, proper spacing, and attentive care make the difference between a tree that survives and one that thrives.
Palms for every vision
From iconic royal palms to elegant dwarf varieties, our nursery carries a wide selection of hardy, well-established palms suited to Florida's unique growing conditions.
Royal Palm
The classic Florida silhouette—tall, elegant, and unmistakable. Perfect as a statement specimen or along driveways.
Sabal Palm
Florida's state tree—native, resilient, and low-maintenance. A natural choice for coastal and inland landscapes alike.
Pygmy Date Palm
Compact, cluster-forming, and ornamental. Ideal for courtyards, containers, and tight spaces where drama is desired.
Mexican Fan Palm
Fast-growing and architectural. Its dramatic height makes it a standout for property lines and grand entrances.

The quintessential tropical icon. Graceful arching fronds and productive fruit make this a true showpiece.
